1944 Royal Enfield wd co military classic vintage army ex wd motorcycle. This is a lovely 350cc ohv Royal Enfield model wd co motorcycle, despatched to Chrystal Palace in august 1944,it was first issued to the Auxiliary fire service and thus in a maroon colour, this machine was released from service in 1948. The bike was then restored in the early 1990's, at this point it's original registration number of JYN 512 was lost and it's present number of NVS592 was issued, since restoration it has been used but covered below 5000 in this period. The previous owner had this bike since 1998 and has done a total under 1000 miles on it. We have details of its contract number and other interesting history/ information plus spare parts books and a manual. The bike remains with many of it's military fittings on and has a high degree of originality and lovely patina. It starts readily sounds very healthy and rides nicely. [These are possibly the nicest military motorcycle from WW2 to rice]. These machines were used by; Home Guard, AFS, RAF, Navy and also the French Army. So you have a choice of specifications/colours. The machine can either be used as is or re painted in olive drab etc, other than an inspection & mot as far as I am aware it is in A1 mechanical condition, please also study the photos showing military wd markings all present. I think you would look far & wide to find a more genuine and correct machine with a high degree of originality unlike so many on the market. Please only serious bids from people who can / will pay promptly, sorry no overseas bidders [unless by prior agreement] Anyone bidding must pay in full & collect within 7 days of auction end. Many thanks.
