This item is a Ministry of Food Ration Book dated  July 1943 on the front.

Inside has the names of the retailers filled in (Bardney, near Lincoln) and has two full  printed ration pages still inside, all having been used and crossed through. Also has a page and a half of other rations which are unused.

Unusually the owner of the book has attached her pink 1943-44 clothing ration book inside the food ration book. This has threequarters of a page of ration stamps intact inside, all others removed for use.

There are some grubby marks on the covers of the food ration book otherwise good condition.
