This item is a Ministry of Food JUNIOR Ration Book for a child, dated July 1943 issue on the front.

Inside has the names of the retailers filled in (Bardney, near Lincoln) and has two full  printed ration pages still inside, all having been used and crossed through. Also has a page and a half of other rations which are unused.

Unusually the pink 1943-44 junior clothing ration book has been attached inside the food ration book. This has threequarters of a page of ration stamps intact inside, all others removed for use and also a supplementary clothing token and a similar pinned at the back..

There are some grubby marks on the covers of the food ration book otherwise good condition.
