Our manufacturing process is a precision laser cutting method to create holes in which the coins can be inserted: thus holding securely in position without harming them (beware of similar offerings that secure coins by crudely gluing them into position).
The 1943 British year set contains the complete nine coins all issued and dated from the year, namely: halfcrown, florin, Scottish and English shilling, sixpence, silver threepence (these six all struck in 50% silver), brass threepence, halfpenny and farthing (no penny was issued dated 1943). All of the coins are in Fine (or better) condition. We don't clean/polish coins as this will devalue the collection: find out why
This would make a wonderful and original gift for someone born or married in 1943 as 2008 would be their 65th birthday or anniversary! This would also make an excellent Christmas, Fathers Day, Mothers Day etc present. The set is housed in a display protection case but can be removed so why not frame to further enhance?
