1940's UNUSED CUTWORK BUTTERFLIES PAIR PILLOWCASES

This pair of unused pillowcases are embellished with cutwork/openwork and dates from the 1940's. The butterfly motif adds a feminine touch. Each case measures 23" in width by 31-1/2 " in length. They are reminiscent of a very grand and regal period in linens. Fine handwork and quality thread make for a true work of art! These cases are just lovely! No rips, holes, or stains, they are perfect! They are in excellent condition, and have been washed, starched and ironed. Would be a fine addition to your linen collection, or would make a great gift.
