1940's LOVELY UNUSED EMBROIDERED ROSES PILLOWCASES

Recently purchased from an Italian Trousseau, this pair of 1940's unused cotton pillowcases are in beautiful shape. They are reminiscent of a very grand and regal period in linens. They are adorned with skillfully embroidered roses and finished off with a skillfully made scalloped edge. The floral motif adds a feminine touch. Fine handwork and quality thread make for a true work of art! These cases are just lovely! They are in excellent condition, and have been washed, starched and ironed. No rips, holes,or stains, they are perfect! They measure 20-3/4" wide and 29-1/4" in length. Would make a great wedding gift, would look lovely on your bed, or would make a great addition to your linen collection.
