This is a most  interesting and informative  piece of Brownie memorabilia, being a soft-covered booklet called; Brownie Games From a Brown Owl`s Note Book, written by Esterel Pelly, and published in 1942.

 The booklet is described as a book of games, which are simply compiled and clearly explained. They are divided into groups of games, ie;  Games of Brownie Magic;  Six Relay Races;  Nature Games; Test Games ; Ball Games; + Quiet Games. 

The 64 pages are packed with ideas, and contents include, eg;  The Giants Treasure; Cuthberts Cow;  Musical semaphore Drill; The Way to Fairyland;  Farmyard Bouncing Game;  The Doll Show; Dressing Up; + so many more.

Measuring approx. 6.5"x 4", the booklet is not in the best of conditions. The covers have a few tears and are scuffed  through age and handling, and also there are a few pencil marks inside  on a few pages,  but I do feel that it is the content  that is of importance in this case. Nostalgic memories of Brownie Games from  66 years ago, all of which I am sure could be enjoyed and adapted today!
