This item is a scarce early issue Ministry of Food Ration Book dated 8 July 1940 on the front.

Inside has the names of the retailers filled in (Bardney, near Lincoln) and printed instructions for use. Also has a complete page of ration stamps for cooking fats including lard and dripping still intact and two pages of spare coupons. All other pages of coupons removed for use.

There are some light marks on the covers otherwise good condition.
