1938 Eyston / Cobb Speed Record Print
A rare ORIGINAL double-sided page from a quality French magazine.
On quality white paper (not newsprint) with a satin finish.
It was published October 1938 and compares the cars of Eyston and Cobb.
The text gives details of Eyston's record on August 27th in Thunderbolt....
+ Cobb's new record on September 15th in the car it says he called 'Rafale'.....
+ Eyston taking back the record the following day.
It also compares the details (in French) of the two cars, with diagrams.
The Thunderbolt pictures are on one side, the Cobb pictures on the other.
The page size is approx 11" x 15"
One side of the page (Thunderbolt) has some small marks / faint stains.
The marks are noticable on the text area but not on the pictures.
There is a small tear (half inch) in the bottom border.
It will be shipped flat between quality, custom-cut boards and weather protected.
