The Big honcho himself here at The Den has finally persuaded a friend of his to part with some of his extensive collection of model vintage and classic cars. Amongst theses are the superb quality white metal and plastic replicas from Signature Models in 1:18 Scale (they are Big in every meaning of the word). Also an extensive range of Signature Models, of veteran, vintage and classic cars from the 1900’s to the 1960’s in both 1:18 and 1:32 scales. Most of them are hard to obtain in these scales over here. Hence why the 1stwhitewolf wanted to get his paws on them for his collection. Having now merged both collections. He inevitably found that he now was in possession of a number of duplicate models. “The Frenzied Collector” has decided (with some reluctance) to part with them. Once they are gone they are gone. So do not miss this opportunity to obtain for yourself one of these finely detailed models. It is our option that Signature Model Cars rank along side Franklin Mint for quality of reproduction of vintage & veteran model vehicles. They are a nice size and made with precision and care. We think they are delightful and they come out at a reasonable price. Just one look at this 1:18 scale precision die cast replica is all that is required to realize the uniqueness of both the original vehicle and the model. This factory baked-enamel finished masterpiece looks every bit as spectacular as the originals did back in 1938. aaa This authentically styled1: 18 precision replica of a 1938 Buick Century Convertible comes in a delicious deep shiny black, coachwork body. With a black hood which is in the raised position. It also comes with a closed hood for alternating the display. It has a red simulated leather interior and matching upholstery. It is finished with chrome, lights, radiator, bumpers, windscreen and mascot. The tyres are black rubber rimmed in white having detailed tread. The wheel hubs are chrome with two rims of red to match the interior colour scheme. The front wheels are movable for display purposes. These can be turned by turning the steering wheel. This Model of a 1938 Century Convertible coupe also has a bonnet that can be carefully opened to reveal the engine detail. Along with opening doors and boot. aaa It stands on a black display plinth. This has a name plaque mounted on it. This lovely precision model of a 1938 Buick Convertible Coupe. Measures approximately ten and a half inches long by four inches high. aaa Condition of this vehicle is new. It comes in its original silver box with gold trim. |
