This cotton american touching star patchworkquilt top is a graphic and visual vintage beauty, and is hand pieced, hand sewn. The pattern is completely hand sewn. This quilt top is made with fabrics from the 1930's. It measures a generous 78" x 64" and is in unwashed condition, and no wear, no rips, no fabric splitting or fading, and some small old age oxidation spots from years of storage. These will come out with its first washing and are shown in the photos. The stitching throughout are at 5 stitches per inch. The stitches are precise and consistent. This quilt is a wonderful sewn together work of art. The quilter put a lot of thought into the selections of materials to give the quilt a great visual look.
