On offer here is a fabulous and hard to find compactom wardrobe made in
burr walnut and
dating to the late 1920's. Originally made by Bovis, circa 1928 when
production fell quiet, the cabinet makers produced a series of
extremely high quaility wardrobes that are now highly sought after.
Made of burr walnut and standing on a squared edge plinth base having
full length burr walnut panelled doors with original handle and key to
centre. Opening the doors reveals a stunningly appointed interior
having cascade stainless steel hanging rail over open storage with shoe
box to base. The interior right door has flip down tie rail and
dressing mirror. To the left is a fully appointed series of glazed
linen cupboards and open shelves. The interior left door features a
further hanging rail. Stunning burr walnut diamond panelling to
interior. The appointed interior is of top quality and the markings for
this KN model along with compactom markings feature in inside
Condition
Offered in a very good, totally
solid condition commensurate with age. This item is old so please do
not expect it to be as new. Free of worm and solid in joint. being well
polished. The key is with the item though the key top is missing, minor
