DESCRIPTION: THIS IS A 1930's (POSSIBLY EARLIER) ART DECO TEAPOT. ONE OF A KIND!! THE COLOURS ARE STUNNING - BRIGHT ORANGE AND BLACK & HANDPAINTED WITH A SPONGE LIKE EFFECT. IT STANDS ON 4 FEET. THERE IS NO MAKERS MARK, STAMP ETC BUT POSSIBLY GRAYS?? APPROX SIZE: 6" TALL x 11" WIDE x 6" DEEP COLOUR: BASE COLOUR WHITE GLOSS WITH ORANGE & BLACK DETAIL AGE: 1930's POSSIBLY EARLIER CONDITION: VERY GOOD - NO CHIPS OR CRACKS TO THE BODY. THE LID HAS SUFFERED SOME CRACKS & BREAKS (SEE PIC) BUT HAS BEEN PUT TOGETHER VERY WELL AND CAN NOT BE SEEN WHEN THE LID IS ON. AGE CRAZING IN PLACES & SLIGHT WARE TO THE PAINT ON THE HANDLE - VERY MINOR.
