Up for auction is a vintage 1939 Nethertons Cornish Almanack, for 1939. Contains much that is interesting and instructive. Four Copyright Cornish Tales.  Offers a large amount of local and general information. Printed and published by Netherton and Worth, Truro.  It’s a red thick paper binder with two large original staples. Shows some wear and yellowing but for the most part, its in decent shape and a fun novelty to have!  Lots of advertising inside!!! Fun stuff to read! Front page is about the City of Truro and who is in office…churches with services, gas companies, lots of merchant advertising with bakeries and other shops. Truro post office routes and hours, members of Parliament, a page for the handyman, months with plantings, a full page on how to take care of a child from babys bath, to staying calm and giving medicine.  (Castor Oil, liquor potassae, Epsom salts ) and just so much more odd and useful tid bits! A fun piece for show and tell! Fun to display and read through. Its in decent shape but its old and has been used. Feel free to ask questions. I will send carefully for $5.00 usps.
