The Big honcho himself here at The Den has finally persuaded a friend of his to part with some of his extensive collection of model vintage cars. These white metal and plastic models are mostly the superb quality Signature Models in 1:18 Scale (they are Big in every meaning of the word). Most of them hard to obtain in these scales over here. Hence why the 1stwhitewolf wanted to get his paws on them for his collection. He has decided to part with his duplicates. This is one of them Mostly they are new and only been removed from their boxes for photographing and to prepare this catalogue. All cars will be sold “AS SEEN” in the photographs. Please make sure BEFORE bidding that the model is in the condition you expect it be in. If you are not sure of anything. Please Ask. hhhhhhhhahhhhhhhh 1930 Hudson Two Door Coupe By Signature Models hhhhhhhhahhhhhhhh Please note parents these models could be a “Chocking Risk” for very young Children. hah Friends Roy Chapin and Howard Coffin with financial backing from Joseph Hudson produced their fist car in 1909. Their first Hudson “20” left the friends Detroit factory on 3 July 1909 Due to its low price, favorable specification and an intensive advertising campaign. Within a year they had sold 4,000 of the model “20”. An unheard of amount for a new make of vehicle in the space of one year. In 1916 saw A Hudson Super Six being the First Car to drive from New York to San Francisco and back. Such racing achievements were important to a car company back then. Also 1916 was Hudson’s record year for sales selling 25,772 vehicles of all classes. Like all car companies it had its ups and downs by 1925 Hudson had fallen into third place behind Chevrolet and (Yep that it, good old Henry) Ford It was to be 1930 when Hudson’s broke their own record by selling 71, 179 vehicles. They had eight-cylinder engines. They were available in two different wheel base lengths and you could choose from eleven different types of bodywork. hah This precision Signature 1:32 Scale Model of a1930 Hudson has a delicious dark Metallic green coachwork body on black chassis. The white-rimmed tires are actually made of rubber. The Interior upholstery is dark faun. Windscreen trim, bumpers, radiator trim, door handles are chrome coloured. This lovely precision models features opening trunk. Both doors can be opened. It also has a bi-folding bonnet that with care can be opened to view the engine detail within. This delightful model of a 1930 Hudson measures approximately five and a half inches long, two high. It stands on its own plinth with its name plaque. It comes in its own window display box. hah The condition of this model is excellent only removed from its box for photographing and to prepare this catalogue.
