A nice, generally clean copy of a scarce history. Well illustrated with occasional b&w photo plates, line maps; impressive, large folding maps, plus appendices. The division served at Gallipoli and under Allenby in Egypt, Palestine and Sinai. Five battalions served in France. Folding maps include battles at Gaza and Jerusalem (see scans above). Appendices include embarkation, postings of battalions, orders, the five battalions in France and roll of officers commanding. Now 82 years old and well preserved for this age. Red cover boards. 288 pages. A larger book, 25 x 20 cm. Weighs 1.23 kg so please check postage is ok for you. Condition: Old 1930 gift inscription on end paper (see scan), light rubbing to cover, light age soiling to edge of pages, inside generally clean with the very occasional minor mark to a page, pages browning a little, the large folding maps are especially clean and unused in original folds.
