Stained Glass Leaded & Bevelled Glass Church & Residential Roundels Lodge Insignias Colored and Opalescent Glass Figural and Geometric Designs Bevelled and Leaded Glass Operable, Arched, Triptych, etc. Cathedral Stained Glass Signage More This is a fine reproduction of two stained and leaded glass catalogs: a 1924 catalog of stained glass church windows from the Wendling Glass Co. and the stained and leaded glass portions of a 1923 Pittsburgh Paint & Glass catalog. The Wendling catalog was merely stamped with that firm's name - the designs, and in fact the catalog itself, were developed by the National Ornamental Glass Mfrs. Assoc., The NOGMA was a trade group based in Pittsburgh, formed to assist in marketing and to promote good design in glass products. It is likely that the windows in the Pittsburgh Glass catalog came from either that group or a similar one. Pittsburgh Paint & Glass was quite active in and supportive of numerous trade groups. The Wendling catalog is titled "Church" but also shows lodge insignias. Most of the windows could obviously be used for residential use as well. Our reproduction catalog is organized so that there are two "front" covers - the book flips to the reverse side to show either the Wendling/Int'l Glass or the Pittsburgh designs. Except for 2 exterior photographs from the Pittsburgh pages, all the windows are in full color. 30 pages: our introduction page, 20 pages Wendling / NOGMA, 9 pages Pittsburgh, plus illustrated covers as shown. See More Decorative Arts Catalogs in our eBay Store We have digitally reproduced and restored our original catalog at an extremely high resolution, and printed the pages on a heavy paper stock. This is not a photocopy - our methods allow us to retain an unusual image clarity and depth of detail, sometimes limited only by the production values of the original. Some of our fine reproduction catalogs are already in museum research collections. This reproduction catalog is meant to be a permanent reference. Its color-coordinated plastic spiral binding, unlike a cheaper comb binding, allows this book to remain unharmed when left open at the desired place. The front and back covers are printed on heavy marbled cover stock and protected by sturdy clear vinyl outer covers.
