A very rare postcard from Ireland to Christmas Island.
With the Penang to Singapore/+ cds, next to a very good strike of the howlingly rare Christmas Island/+ CDS.
Dated September 1907.
Charles Leskie's auction number 328, 16th June 2008. A poorer quality, same source strike sold for Au$4,000.
This is a better quality strike. At a lesser price.
A very rare item indeed.
