Memorabilia City presents a vintage 1904 issue of the 'Sport & Play' newspaper covering the Aston Villa versus Small Heath (now Birmingham City) tie from the Birmingham Cup.

The paper/programme contains the two team line up on the inside rear cover as well as all the fixtures and results of Aston Villa, Small Heath and West Bromwich Albion on the inside front cover.

This fixture was one of the earliest meetings of these two great rivals, the high flying Aston Villa and their proud neighbours Birmingham City. This is an awesome item to own for any true Aston Villa or Birmingham City supporter, or a football programme collector.

The newspaper contains reviews of Villa's recent 3-2 defeat by Sheffield Wednesday, and Small Heath's 3-2 win against Newcastle United. There is also a lot of other football talk, quite amazing to read as it was so long ago.

There are also adverts for a set of 12 football shirts for 80p, a top quality match ball for 42p, and a new bicycle for just 75p.

Condition: Very Good considering the age - I have taken photographs to give a fair indication of the condition. The item can be picked up and read despite being over 100 years old. The pages are secured by a staple. The cover page is split down the spine. There is wear and discolouration to the edge as can be seen in the photos. If you have any questions, I suggest that you contact me before making a bid.
