 18th CENTURY MINIATURE PORTRAIT OF A GENTLEMAN C1790

This is an oval miniature of a gentleman in 16th century attire.

Overall size is 5 ½ inches (not including the hook) by 4-3/8 inches (140 x 110mm)

We think that its a print on glass...if you know different please tell.

There's a slight blemish on his neck ruff, a very small flake chip to the edge of the glass, two small scratches to the glass, and two stable edge cracks to the frame (see pictures) I think that the frame is ebonized walnut, also there are two of the securing pins that are protruding through the paper on the back...apart from the mentioned it is good.

Age is circa 1790
