This is a wonderful 19th Century or older Persian miniature painting of a courting scene. Tempra pigment on heavy rag paper, piece measures 7.75 inch x 6.5 inch and matte measures 17 inch x 6 inch.  Unframed, high bidder will need to have frame and glass cut for this piece.

Image is very clean and well rendered. There is some slight areas of infestation damage, this is a tell tale sign that is old!!! Painting is matted  and affixed to a black backer board. It appears to be glued in each corner and I have not attempted to remove it.
