A reminder of our Dark past, this 18C bronze slave token was the  common exchange for 1slave with tribal slaving Chiefs who had no use for currency.
Found in the liverpool ( the once Capitol of the slave trade) area, these tokens are extremely rare and usually only seen in museums.
