An 1887 print of an infant in its original textured wood frame. In very small lettering at the bottom of the print it states – “Entered according to Act of Congress in the year 1887 by the SUNSHINE PUBLISHING COMPANY of Philadelphia, in the Office of the Librarian of Congress of Washington.” The inside measurement (the exposed print) is 10 ½” x 13 ½”. It is bordered by cloth-over-wood. The frame itself is wood with a textured surface and measures 15 ¼” x 18”. It has a wood backing also that appears to be untouched. There are a few minor chips out of the textured surface – one on the upper-left corner and a few on the inner portion of the frame but does not detract from this piece very much at all. The print is covered with a sheet of glass.
