From a box of disbound (not by me!) Victorian Encyclopedia - Circa 1885
A fine colour print from steel engraving entitled :-
' The Solar System '
Which includes :
showing the comparative Magnitudes of The Plants -- Comparative Magnitude of the Sun seen from each Planet - Signs of The Planets etc i.e Mercury, venus, earth, mars, vesta, juno, ceres, pallas, jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune
. It measures 320 x 245 mm (12.75 x 9.75 " ) approx. It is in very good condition. It is blank on the reverse. This print is an ideal size formounting or matting, and framing. There is an original fold to the centre
CONDITION
It is on good quality paper with a blank reverse, and in good condition (unless otherwise mentioned in the main body of this description) with a little fading around the edges of borders not affecting the print.
Sometimes there are binding holes and witness marks which will be visible in the scan - if in doubt please ask for a jpeg to view closer
