This work is comprised for the most part of extracts from flagellation novels, letters extracted from the press of the day advocating corporal punishment and anecdotes and personal experiences of flogging.

Bound in original grey boards with white cloth spine, pages are rough cut, in good condition, all complete.
Size is 7½ by 5 inches.
