A c 1885 finely detailed pair of prints from engraving:-

Both entitled : ' MOTH '.

The first shows :- Attacus Cynthia Ailanthus Silk worm moth - Cnethocampa processionea, processionary moth - Eriogaster Lanestris, social larvae of the small eggar moth feeding on the lime tree - Zeuzera Aesculi, larva of the wood leopard moth

The second, shows :- Erasmia Pulchella, charles horne's moth - Praesos Mariana, Marian White's moth - Fidonia atomaria - Amesia Sanguiflua - The painter's pallet - Adela Sultzella - Cerostoma Xylostella - Crambus margaritellus - Earis Clorana

Each is in good condition, on good quality paper with a blank reverse.

Each measures 205 x 130 mm ( 8 x 5 " ) approx.
