We have chosen the sections on kitchen, garden, wire and wood bird cages, clothing display forms and some others, for our reproduction - a total of 98 pages. (We may publish the wood-handled brush sections in another book.) Interestingly, some of the garden pieces are similar in design to those in our earlier 1875 Barnum Wire Catalog, even sharing the same artist, but there are many, many new and different ones as well. This reproduction catalog has hundreds of illustrations, and also includes 21 ads from other businesses from the back of the original catalog. As Always, Carefully Restored This reproduction catalog is meant to be a permanent reference and is suitable for gift-giving. Its color-coordinated plastic spiral binding, unlike a cheaper comb binding, allows this book to remain unharmed when left open at the desired place. The front and back covers are printed on heavy marbled cover stock and protected by sturdy clear vinyl outer covers. We have digitally reproduced and restored our original catalog at an extremely high resolution, and printed the pages on a heavy paper stock.
