1883. The genuinely rare 1st edition of Patrick Manson's Filaria Sanguinis Hominis in India and China book. A superb library reference piece. Incredibly difficult, if not impossible to find in such excellent overall condition. 186pps with all the diagrams and charts intact. Superb fresh boards with gilt titles. Tight binding with just a few small fox spots, mainly near the front. It is very doubtful if you will ever locate this howling rarity anywhere at all, even from the best antiquarian booksellers.
