Elgin 54mm Antique Silver Pocket Watch

    Up for auction here is a Vintage Silver 54mm Elgin Rare Pocket Watch. Watch is currently not in working order, and crown/winder winds, and has wound to the fullest extent, and the watch is currently not running. Though watch appears intact, in excellent shape, buyer/bidder will need to perform some repairs or maintenance. Watch has a diameter, (not including the crown/winder of roughly 54mm) This is a very interesting watch, with excellent, classic design, slightly raised crystal and traditional face, with bold black roman numerals and white backing, with separate seconds timer in place of the "VI" at bottom.

Item is in excellent physical condition, with moderate scratch or contact marks visible. Inside of back case reads, "WARRANTED COIN SILVER TRADE NO. 1 MARK C2415" There is a sticker that someone has added which reads, "1883 RARE TRANSITION TZGEY" Inside of movement cover reads, "C2415" Movement/gears has the text, "ELGIN NAT'L WATCH CO. 1155905" With "C2415" on the outside ring. This is an absolutely fantastic item for collectors of uncommon and rare watches and should make for a dynamic addition to any growing collection!
