1882 Curtis Botanical ORCHID Satyrium (6625) Fitch

A fine original antique hand-coloured engraving from Curtis' Botanical Magazine.  This is number 6625, Satyrium Nepalense from India.  The artists are M.S and J.N.Fitch. One of several plates from this great publication that I am listing this week. They all have accompanying TEXT - this is so often missing.

*Condition: very good. Please note colours are MUCH better than they appear in the scan and any patches of uneven toning are the fault of the scanning process. Each plate is very clean, unless otherwise stated.

*Measures: approx 6.25" x 9".

*Shipping: £1.60 within UK, internationally at cost (£3.25 to USA and similar destinations.) Insurance is always recommended, as I cannot be held responsible if items are lost in the post.
