3 Sheet Vellum Indenture by way of Mortgage dated 27th July 1878 PARTIES - HENRY NEWALL and JAMES NEWALL (Builders) of Bowdon In the County of Chester (1) and JAMES HULME (Farmer) of Broadheath Dunham Massey in the County of Chester (2) PROPERTY - A plot of land in Hale in the Parish of Bowdon in the County of Chester containing 1178 square yards and the two dwellinghouses in the course of erection on it. This is substantial document consisting of three sheets measuring approximately 68 x 55 centimetres. The first page has one blue duty paid stamp. The reverse has the signature of WILLIAM E. CAVE, Solicitor, Altrincham as witness and the statement that the document had been signed by James Hulme "the contents of the within written Indenture having first correctly read over to him which he deemed perfectly to understand the same and made his mark thereto".
