Rare Russian Icon of Saint Nicholas Miracleworker. Circa 1870s. Bronze. Enamel. Size: 9 by 10.5". Very good condition.

Saint Nicholas is held in exceptional veneration in Russia. He left no theological nor works, although there are about one hundred and fifty legends of the miracles worked by him. In Russia he is personified as the shepherd of the Church, and is included as one of the main Church Father of Orthodoxy. Authenticity guaranteed. Certificate of the Authenticity available upon request.
