DETAILS

A rare volume bound in three quarter leather with gilt lettering to spine and marble paper boards. 

Two text bound together in one volume.  Both texts are novels written by G. P. R. james.  The text of the first volume is in a larger font than that of the second volume. 

CONDITION

The binding os the text block is tight and firm with all internal pages securely attached.  The rear board is firmly attached, while the front board and spine are secured to the rear board but detached from the text block.  There is wear to the extremities, including rubbing and fading to the spine, and rubbing and mild bumping to the boards.  Internally the pages are generally clean and bright, apart from the occasional handling mark and minor brown spot.  There is a small binding sticker, reading "bound by S. Mepham, Dorchester" on the front pastedown.  Overall this volume is in very good condition.
