What we are offering here is a superb example of Harding's 1849 1st edition "Lessons on Art"
The book features numerous superb plates and un-usually, the copying plate sections are unused - see scans.
The book has been collated and is complete.
The book is bound in the original green cloth, with gilt lettering to the front board. There is wear all over and fraying to the spine. The book has cracking to the inner hinges, which has resulted in a few leaves becoming loose - but despite this, the book is holding reasonably well.
Condition - there is general soiling and spotting in places. A few plates are a little grubby - but the overall condition is very good.
The book measures 38 x 28 cm (15 x 11 inches).
