Percy Bolingbroke St. John 1821-1889 was a short story and penny dreadful author and the editor of various journals.
This is 2 separate works bound together each with its own title page and page numbering, the first is a first edition, the second is a later edition.
  Both are tales of life in the American Southwest, stories which are fictional, but according to the introduction in 'The Trappers Bride' seem to be closely based on personal experience.
