 DESCRIPTION........................................

An Original ( i.e. from the date given, not a later reprint) 1842 finely detailed print from engraving entitled :-

' St Nicholas Church LIVERPOOL '

- beautifully engraved J. C. Armytage from the work by W. H. Bartlett.

The print measures 265 x 210 mm (10.5 x 8.25 " ) approx. including good titled borders.

It is on good quality paper with a blank reverse. There is some brown spotting ( foxing ) which can be seen in the scan

This print which is over 160 years old, would look wonderful mounted or matted and framed. Please email me if any more detail is required.

It consists of a view of the dockside and river with St Nicholas' Church in the distance. Also shows sailing ships and people working alongside the river Mersey.
