1839 Neat Entire Letter (toned filing crease through centre of address panel, some internal writing showing through to outer) with unusual content (in English) from Rev. W HOLLOWAY at ROUEN regarding JEREMIAH WILLIAMS in this town nephew to one Mrs MARY WILLIAMS who lived with a Mrs MEADOWS in your Parish....he is desirious of knowing if she is living as she would die with considerable property and wealth....he has recently had a paralytic stroke which has materially weakened his ability to work. There is a further copy of the reply Letter sent by Rev. R VAVASOUR Rector of STOW ON THE WOLD in which he informs Mrs Williams had died in 1833 leaving much wealth and property but this has been disposed of and Jeremiah Williams is not mentioned in her will. Great research document for GLOUCESTERSHIRE family historian, a little ragged on few edges with minor archival tape repairs inside. There is a fine red curved FOREIGN PAID and PAID Tombstone of LONDON on the front. FRANCE, RELIGION. HAVE A LOOK AT OUR OTHER EBAY LOTS AND EBAY SHOP, MORE ADDED REGULARLY.
