The whole 8 ‘retro pattern’ series of 7 coin types – (GREAT BRITAIN, SCOTLAND, IRELAND, EAST INDIA COMPANY,CEYLON,) was struck from specially prepared and rimmed blanks. There were only 30 gold pieces made, 1200 silver and a strictly limited number of base metal proofs in 6 different metals – copper, bronzed copper, aluminium, golden alloy, pewter and nickel silver. The pieces will be featured in the 5th (latest) edition of ‘UNUSUAL WORLD COINS’ by Colin Bruce/Krause Publications. Colin has already featured some of the items (Gt Britain reverse, Bermuda reverse, Ireland reverse etc) in the ‘New Issues’ section of (USA) World Coin News. THESE PIECES ARE REALLY SENSATIONAL, FULL CROWN SIZE AND WEIGHT AND MADE IN STERLING SILVER, STRICTLY LIMITED EDITION
