This is a pair of solid silver fiddle pattern sugar tongs fully hallmarked for Glasgow 1833 makers marks for Robert Gray & Son. The tongs are undecorated and have a simple elegance to them and have not been monogrammed. Overall length is 15.5cms from top of bow to bowl tip and approx. weight is 50.4 grams. A good pair of solid silver sugar tongs from this scarce assay office. No reserve.
