1831 Good content Entire Letter from GEORGE PATERSON in GRENADA with a good deal of plantation news , crops, winds and weather, asking if two yoke of oxen can be spared for his use.....'Edward appears steady and industrious but he has a difficult task with the spoiled gang who are ill disposed and troublesome to manage' - no doubt on a Sugar Estate on the island. The Letter is charged 1/10d postage to THOMAS DUNCAN at 78 Great King Street, EDINBURGH and is endorsed 'per St. ANN (or ANNA?) via London' and has a fair step type framed DEAL/SHIP LETTER top right on Obversestruck over a worn fold. SCARCER ORIGIN and a good Letter for further research. KENT, MARITIME. DONT FORGET TO HAVE A LOOK AT OUR OTHER EBAY LOTS AND EBAY SHOP - MORE ADDED REGULARLY.
