What we are offering here is a superb example of Comte's early 19th century travel book "Memoires Relatifs A L'expedition Anglaise"
The book features nineteen superb colour plates and a map - all of which are in excellent condition.
The book has been collated and is unfortunately lacking one map (there should be two in total)
The book is bound in a superb 3/4 red morocco, with paper covered boards. There is minor wear, but this is not serious. The book is holding firm.
Condition - there is general soiling and spotting in places. A few leaves have staining to the lower margins, but this is not disfiguring. The overall condition of the book is excellent.
The book measures 23 x 14 cm (9 x 5.5 inches).
