Pencil drawing of a man holding on to a rock - or perhaps climbing the rock. I am slightly puzzled by the presence of what looks to be a shoe just to the side of his left foot.
The drawing is dated 15th Feb 1822, but not signed.
Undamaged but soiled and lightly browned. Corners have creases indicating that it was once slipped into corner mounts in an album.
Drawing measures approximately 9 x 6cm, sheet 12 x 13cm
