What we are offering here is an engraving by the listed artist Thomas Sutherland of Wild Duck Shooting. This was published onJune 1st 1817 by Thomas Palser, Surrey side Westminster Bridge.
The original backing board has provenance going back to the Scottish framers, Doug Wilson and Wheatley. Each backing board from the four framed by this company bear the number 2748.
This is an interseting picture with lots of detail, please look closely at all our scans to fully appreciate the picture.
The picture is in good condition with very slight discolouration due to age. The paper has been laid onto board.
The paper measures 34 x 39 cm (13.25 x 15.25 inches)
