This is a delightful hand-coloured engraved plate from 'Ackermann's Repository of Arts and Science', one of the premier publications of the high Regency period. This one shows a lovely Morning Dress and parrot  from April 1815. Please scroll down for a wider view.  Includes TEXT of the fashions.

Condition is very good. All details just visible. Library stamp on the back, visible only when held up to the light. Small stain at the lower edge.

Measures approx: 9.25" x 5.5"
