This is a delightful hand-coloured engraved plate from 'Ackermann's Repository of Arts and Science', one of the premier publications of the high Regency period. This one shows a lovely Carriage dress from June 1815. Please scroll down for a wider view.  Includes TEXT of the fashions.

Condition is very good. All details just visible. Library stamp on the back, visible only when held up to the light.

Measures approx: 9.25" x 5.5"
