This is a delightful, mounted,  hand-coloured engraved plate from 'Ackermann's Repository of Arts and Science', one of the premier publications of the high Regency period. This one shows a stunning pair of evening dresses, probably by ADAM BUCK. An early plate from the first two years of publication.

Condition: as shown, trimmed and mounted onto  some parchment.  All details visible.

Measures approx: 9.25" x 5.5", plus backing paper.
