This work translated and edited by Elisabeth Smith 1776-1806, Oriental scholar and philologist, contains a memoir of Klopstock, letters from and to him, posthumous writings of his wife, plus a small selection of his odes.

CONDITION
Original antique full leather binding, spine with raised bands and blind tooled decorations, marbled endpapers, binding has slight wear with loss of title label and gilt to spine, slight browning to pages.

Size is 8¾ by 5¼ inches.
