This is an incredibly rare account of the Life and Death of one of Great Britain’s greatest ever heroes - Admiral Horatio Lord Viscount Nelson.
Scarce, the only edition.
Published in January 1806, just two weeks after Nelson’s death and funeral on 8th and 9th January 1806.

Bound in half brown leather over marbled paper covered boards.
In very good condition, cover and spine rubbed, marbling frayed at cover edge and small piece torn from front cover, water stain to margin of frontis, repaired tear to Plan of Battle of Trafalgar plate, page edges slightly frayed at on a couple of the fold-outs, light toning but virtually no foxing, the pages and plates are all in very clean sharp condition light toning but no foxing.
Includes: “A Correct Narrative of The Funeral of Horatio Lord Viscount Nelson, Comprehending an Account of the Conveyance of his Body to England, on board the Victory, of 110 Guns; An Accurate Description of the Manner of its Lying in State, In the Painted Hall at Greenwich, on the 5th, 6th, and 7th of January; the Procession by Water, on the 8th. To Whitehall, and Thence on Foot to the Admiralty. With Circumstantial Particulars of the Grand Procession to St. Paul’s: And of the Solemn Ceremony of the Internment on the 9th January 1806.”
