I am offering some early hand-coloured fashion engravings from 'Le Journal des Dames at Des Modes Costumes Parisiens' over the next few weeks. This one is from the original FRENCH edition. Dated An 11, which is a very early plate, from before they were dated with the year,  number (448). Please scroll down for another view. Features a  young man in a very formal outfit.

Condition is very good, with faint fold as usual. Please note, colours are MUCH brighter than they appear in the picture .  Faint central fold, as usual.

Measures approx: 8" x 5".Shipping: £1.60 within UK, internationally at cost (£3.25 to USA).
