18 / 19th C. Carved Folk Art / Tribal ? Animal
This is a very unusual 19th century or possibly much earlier carved figure of an animal resembling a Tasmanian Devil, which would make it very interesting indeed.
The style is very distinctive & may be Oceanic tribalal or even English folk art, possibly maritime. A facinating carving whose history I have been unable to research.
CONDITION It has been varnished & had plaster applied at some point. Overall condition is commensurate with significant age & handling.
The overall condition is as you would expect from an object of substantial age that has been displayed/handled/used. See photos

Insurance is available for £3.50 + 5% item sale price - per item. The Royal Mails 'International Signed For' service is included within this cost for all parcels below 2 kg.
(e.g. £100 item insurance will be £8.50).
* UK - All parcels below 2kg are posted recorded delivery with an insured value of £30 (This is included in the quoted delivery cost).
